Who writes the review?
An AI, from what the page gives a search engine. It quotes the page's own words and figures, invents nothing, and nobody pays it to be kind. A review by people is at the foot of every bill: Solar Beam Studio.
What does the AI actually read?
What a search engine or a link preview reads: the title, the description, the headings, the buttons and the text of the page, with no JavaScript run. And its stylesheets: the colours, the typefaces, the type sizes, how it adapts to a phone. It does not look at a screenshot: it judges what the page declares. If the page is empty without JavaScript, that is the first line of the bill.
